Dr Claus Bachert is chief of the clinic and chairs the Upper Airways Research Laboratory at the University Hospital of Ghent, Belgium. He also holds a professor position at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. His research interests include the pathophysiology and management of allergic/non-allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, and nasal polyposis.
